A photograph created during some incredible frosty conditions in December 2023 while exploring Scotland's Ancient Caledonian Forest. I waited quite a while at this particularly dynamic birch tree for the sun to crest the hills to the south in hopes that the hoar frost would glow; it did just that and then some! A morning to remember.
