This glen is slowly re-wilding itself. Birch are making their way up the valley floor expanding the woodland where native forest once stood. I ventured up here during winter in a temperature inversion which produced some lovely conditions — snowfall, hoar frost, and wonderful soft glowing backlight breaking through the rising cloudbase.
