I’ve been involved with photography since attending a technical illustration course at Coventry College of Art back in the 1970’s.

Through most of my career as a technical illustrator I only used photographs as a reference source. I did own a camera but I only really used it to record family holidays and my daughters growing up.

Moving on to nearing retirement I started to take photography more seriously as a hobby and joined a local camera club. I wouldn’t say I have an overall favourite genre of photography but I do tend to favour landscape and still-life. Saying that I do generally take anything that catches my eye, whether with a camera or my phone. I also like to play around with photography and post processing to create abstract and more creative images something I hope to develop more of in the future.
