Have a look at this beautiful LED Lightbox designed and built by our gallery director and lead artist Nat Coalson!
It’s 30 cm square, with a lovely gold frame on a hand-waxed wooden box. The face features a photograph by Sue Searle, one of our Cliq Photiq Members. Nat printed the photo on backlit film and face-mounted it to gloss acrylic. The effect is gorgeous!
The best part: The LED lights inside the box are powered by a mobile power supply mounted to the back with an on/off switch, so there is no power lead required. The rechargeable power supply can last for months without needing a recharge, which is done by plugging in a USB as you would a smartphone.
